Good bye Hometown

Good bye family and friends. Good bye carefreeness of childhood. Good bye to the scent of the sea, the gossiping of the waves, the tenderness of the sand and the danger of the jellyfish. Good bye chai, with the beige look, with the taste of spices and the conversation that you induce. Good bye mountains, standing tall, looking on our shoulders obstructing development. Good bye fertile land, with the water canals and the lemon smell and nourishment that you provide to the people of the land. Good Bye hometown.
The mountains cause rain that creates a lake that create trees.

Marshmallow Challange

During the time in the creative writing class we were separated into teams where we had to build the highest structure using just 20 spaghetti sticks and a yard of tape and a yard of a string. We had only 18 minutes to make the structure. Two of the four teams failed, and my team was not successful. My team consisted of myself, Mohammad and Sultan.
The purpose of the exercise was to see how will we react and build the structure. Personally I think that this exercise was also meant to stimulate our minds into thinking on how to achieve any objects. The thing that surprised me that most was how brittle the spaghetti stick was. I learned that I am not very patient when working with my teammates.
I think that the marshmellow test can somehow relate the way we try to reach our goals in life and how to support it. Only those with a clear vision can make a structure just like in life only those who dream can make it. This experiacne can help me to plaqn my life and I shall use it in the workplace

my travel

I remember the day I was smoking inside the Pacific Ocean. I met a person who had six legs. This person was barbequing tomato, talked about his loud drum. We met at a toy store, while I was chilling. The toys smelled like cows drinking blood, the toys were big and square shaped and, was carrying a bowl of soup. We talked about oil prices. When I left the person throw me a mummy.
Later when I dissected the mummy I found a key to a house. When I visited the house I saw a dog sun bathing and a mouse chasing a giraffe. The giraffe was screaming loudly in Swahili. I also saw a place made of fish and chocolate. I tasted it, and it tasted like fish and chocolate. I invited my friends to this house and showed them the mummy. I asked them to put whatever they have inside their pocket into the mummy, I stitched back the mummy. And put in my car. I took it to the zoo to scare the people. When everybody ran away from the zoo, I took a picture of the animals and sold them in eBay. With the money I bought a yacht, GPS system. Diesel tanker and a lot of canned food.
Few days later, I stacked the food and the diesel into my yacht; I put the GPS system in the yacht too. I was planning for the trip where I will visit the entire the world. The trip will take a life time.

Day in the open

Today's class activity was to go out into the open and to make an observation on the surroundings. Each person had to find a place where he or she can make write what he observed.
Where I was sitting I saw a tree with young leaves. This is a mark that we are in spring. I also noticed the grass with some patches of dirt. Cars parked was the background. And the background of the parked cars was moving cars in the high way. I also observed two servicemen walking and chatting about daily fusses. To conclude what I have observed, I have to say that I saw wasps circumnavigating which distracted me and so I moved.
I heard the sound of the cars moving down the highway. And the buzz made by the wasps and a bird probably chatting to it bird friend.
I smelled the grass and pollution from the highway.
I felt the rough wood that the chair on which I was sitting made me feel as I touched it.
As I was sitting I had few questions, one of those question was what gives grass it smell.the other was why was the sky so clear. And the last question was what are the ranks of the soldier.

Mourning

Mourning is the burning of the ribs
Dressed as a very well done Steak
Eating away the heart in ache

3 line poems

tolerance is a lamp in cave
wearing a shiny armour
melting down ice

poverty is a skinny child in heaven
dressed as an angel
thirsty of dignity

my consultant

The waves are patting the shores causing the air molecules to vibrate and produce what we call sound. The sound of the waves is like a whisper that tells me that “its okay, life moves on, don’t let go”. If you’re still guessing about the place, then you should know that I am talking about the beach, to be more precise I am talking about where the sea hits the land. Whenever I need to think or meditate I know that the sea is the power that charges my brain. The humidity does not matter, because my body is shut closed and my brain is on high power just thinking about almost everything that matter or affect me, even in the slightest way. The waves calm me down. It is my psychiatric that I can express my feelings without being afraid of him breaking the patient doctor privacy. And in top of that it’s for free and always available for consultation.

What is Love

                           Energy
                  existent, non-existent
           never ending, changing, persevering
energy is neiher created nor destroyed
                      energy is love

3-line peom

Injustice eats flesh in a trash can
Dressed as a dirty worm
Injustice sucks the good out of life

Justice is an angel coming to the rescue
Wearing a clean white dress
Justice nurtures life

On the Other Hand

                               Love
                    hypocrisy, dangerous
              Backstabbing, lying, cheating
                          Love is Misery
                              Death

Sense of Place

Each of us has his own special place, which he or she feels comfortable in. It is a place that a person feels just right in it. For me, that place is a restaurant that is famous for it chai tea. It is a popular place that is neither fancy nor beautiful. It just makes great food, and most importantly great chai. The restaurant is located in the town called Kalba. Kalba is a town the is on the eastern part of the UAE, it resides beside the Gulf of Oman. This town is right beside my homecity which is why I is convient to go by car.
I remember myself going there all the time with my father just for that chai. We wouldn’t sit inside we would just use something similar to the American drive through.  What made this place special to me is not just the great chai but also the time spent with my old man. The conversation that happened while we drove there to have the chai and the time spent drinking it while driving beside the sea, was at the minimum relaxing, but most importantly it meant bonding with my father.
The truth is places are special to us not because of the place itself but rather of the people that accompany us to that special place.

Finding You

Who am I? What am I? These are questions that creep into everyone thoughts from time to time. And it is difficult to answer without finding something that defines you. Unless you were a psychologist you would find it easier to define oneself using any of god creatures or man.
I consider myself to be a palm tree. You see, a palm tree can survive just about anything. It flourishes in the most challenging environment. Where there is not water and extreme temperature. I also flourish in a challenging environment. Some people think that I am over competitive; others see that it is a life necessity. Me, on the other hand I think that we humans want to push the boundaries and it is our instinct to be the best we could be, and that could only happen in a challenging environment.
A falcon is what I sometimes see myself. A falcon sees it goal which is it food from a distance it focuses on it prey, and dive undeterred from the sky just to grab it prey. This reminds me of me, this is how I see myself when I want to achieve something that I have dreamt of.
